In May 2025, I won a contest where I shared a personal experience with the public — an experience where, during a creative process in a public space, I was humiliated by a man. It left a deep impact on me. When this competition was announced, I immediately submitted a visual piece that carried a strong message.
I believe, this experience is not only happening with me, but many women in the world. Through this competition I want address this message to people out there, especially men. That being friendly is not an invitation, nor is it a signal for sexual advances. Being friendly is simply a part of being human — of being social.
