In Herbst 2023 I teamed up with Tape Over, a Berlin-based tape art agency, on a super exciting project in Paris! We created a mural for a temporary exhibition on Urban Sport during the Olympic Games 2024. The exhibition was a collaboration with Paris je t’aime and aimed to share the history of urban sports—like skateboarding, breakdancing, climbing, surfing, BMX, and basketball—with the public. Alongside the sports, they also showcased urban art that naturally connects to this culture— Street Art and Contemporary Art.
My role in the project was to design and implement the main illustration for the mural. I took care of everything—from creating the visual concept to preparing all the materials and colors, and finally applying the artwork to the wall. The whole process took about seven working days— four studio days and four days working on-site— and we brought all our tools and supplies with us from Berlin. The final piece brought together all the urban sports represented in the Olympics, capturing their energy and spirit in a single artwork. Here is to check more about the location and event.
