The concept for this mural was inspired by the client’s passion for ancient architecture and outer space. As a practicing architect, they have a strong affinity for ancient Greek architectural forms and their historical significance. These types of structures were typically located in mountainous terrains, integrated with the natural landscape.
The planet Mars—commonly referred to as the Red Planet—is believed to contain water resources. This is visually represented by the blue linear elements traversing the planet’s surface within the mural. The connecting lines between the Martian surface and the surrounding mountain range symbolize the conceptual and visual link between Mars and Earth.
